Light Up Macao 2023
Embark on a glittering journey of light with SJM Resorts as part of the Macao Government Tourism Office's "Light Up Macao 2023: The Dazzling Wonderland" holiday spectacular. "Blooming Splendor" runs along San Ma Lou to the Inner Harbor of Ponte 16 Macao, offering a visual voyage of vibrant flowers, glowing illuminations and interactive installations. For the extravaganza, SJM has collaborated with James Glancy Design and Brand Head on a series of colourful and festive installations that will help light up Macau's Central District from December 2023 through February 2024.
Each of SJM's six lighting installations offers an immersive experience, with decorative designs that enhance and showcase Macau's unique culture and architecture. Explore the fascinating past and exciting future of Macau, illuminated in glowing works of light artistry. Locals and visitors alike can follow the glow to explore Macau's iconic Old Town during this luminous nighttime event, embarking on a fascinating cultural journey that weaves together public art and innovative technology, contributing to the city's development of "tourism + culture and creativity" and widening its offerings as a world centre of tourism and leisure.
In addition to "Blooming Splendor", SJM is also supporting innovative holiday outreach activities by local organisations, including a Christmas Market in the Sofitel Front Courtyard presented in collaboration with local SMEs and featuring game booths and festive performances.
