Leading Golf Players and Rising Stars Are Back in the Swing
As the title sponsor in a three-year partnership, SJM Resorts is pleased to announce the return of the SJM Macao Open to the 2023 Asian Tour golf schedule. Co-organised with the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Macao Golf Association, this highly anticipated tournament will bring 144 players together from around the world to compete for a prize pool of USD1,000,000. This year's impressive roster of star players includes leading golfers from China, Australia, India, Thailand, the Philippines and more, as well as young talent and promising local amateurs.
This homecoming of the Macao Open marks its 20th edition. In hosting the tournament, SJM is committed to bringing Macau onto the world stage as an international sports destination, supporting the government's initiative for using sports as a platform for exchange and providing an avenue for young local players to compete in PGA-calibre competitions. By showcasing Macau as a true hub of sporting excellence, SJM aims to drive the development of the city's dynamic fusion of 'Sports + Tourism'.
