SJM Supreme Card Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: February 24, 2023
General
- SJM Supreme Card Program (“Program”) is offered, operated and managed at the sole discretion of SJM RESORTS, LIMITED (“SJM”), which may be changed, modified, added, or removed in portions at any time by SJM.
- The Program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until such time as SJM decides to terminate the Program, at any time, with or without notice.
- The following Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) form the basis of participation in the Program, use of the SJM Supreme Card (“Supreme Card”) and general rules for members of the Program (“Member”) to comply with. It is the responsibility of the Member to read, understand and remain knowledgeable of all of the membership rules, benefits and responsibilities under this T&C, inclusive of any amendments thereto. The enrollment as a Member and/or the use of Supreme Card constitutes the acceptance of the T&C.
- The submission of an application for membership to the Program is deemed to be an acceptance of these T&C and SJM Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) which can be found at here.
- Membership and Member’s entitlement to membership discounts, benefits, complimentaries, offers and/ or promotions (collectively “Benefits”) is governed by these T&C and the Privacy Policy.
- SJM reserves the right to change or cancel the T&C for participating in the Program, for using the Supreme Card and/or Benefits offered by the Program at any time, including exclusion of certain products or outlets from the Program, without prior notice. The decision of SJM management is absolute and final in the event of any dispute.
Membership Application
- The Supreme Card is issued by SJM to its applicants. Only one membership per person is permitted.
- Only individual persons are eligible for membership and shall not be granted to legal entities, corporate entities, other groups or associations.
- Applicants of the Program must be 21 years of age or above. At registration, applicants will be requested to provide their name and mobile number as well as, at discretion of SJM, to present the original of valid government-issued photo identification documents/travel documents of the applicants.
- Members further acknowledge and agree that any data voluntarily provided when applying to become a Member may be used for compliance and other relevant background check purposes and for any other legitimate purposes as may be required, authorized or permitted by the applicable laws. The Member data will be used by SJM to assess the suitability to join and maintain the membership and will be retained as long as the membership is valid or longer if required by Law or Regulation.
- Applicants may be requested to provide to SJM with personal information: including but not limited to the applicant’s name, date of birth, address, email address, contact numbers, photo, other contact methods (such as WeChat) and valid government-issued photo identification documents/travel documents (being the applicant’s “Personal Data”). The Applicant may refuse to provide certain personal information, but this may result in SJM being unable to provide or continue to provide services under the Program.
- Members participating in any campaigns, events and promotions (“Events”) under this Program agree to abide by all rules and conditions of such Events as published and amended by SJM from time to time. The Member shall accept as final and binding the decisions of SJM on relating matters and disputes.
- By enrolling in the Program and/or using the Supreme Card, the Members consent to the terms of the Privacy Policy and the sharing and storing of their personal information among all affiliates, subsidiaries, resorts, properties, partners and service providers of SJM. Members also consent to receiving promotional and informational communications from participating affiliates, subsidiaries, resorts, properties, partners and service providers of SJM. Members may opt-out of receiving marketing communications from SJM, SJM’s partners, and/or other third parties; or may update their preferences by contacting the customer service counter at Grand Lisboa Palace or Grand Lisboa Hotel (“Counter”), but this may result in SJM being unable to provide or continue to provide services under the Program.
- Members may terminate their Membership by approaching any Counter in person with proof of valid government-issued photo identification documents/travel documents.
- Membership acceptance is at sole discretion of SJM and SJM reserves the right to accept or decline any membership application.
Use of Supreme Card
- The Supreme Card including the membership is non-transferable.
- The Supreme Card including the Benefits of the Program shall only be used by the Supreme Card owner. Any Members shall not transfer, sell, purchase, trade or barter a membership account/card or any membership Benefits to another individual. Any Member who infringes this rule is subject to termination of the Program membership and forfeiture of the Benefits, including but not limited to entitlement and other privileges, and may be liable for damages and litigation costs, including any Program lawyers’ fees incurred in enforcing this rule.
- The Benefits cannot be used in conjunction or cumulatively with any other discount, special offers, and other items such as festive items, take-away, set menus or tobacco.
- SJM shall be entitled to require Members to present the original Supreme Card upon participating in any activity of the Program as a Member for verification purpose and updating of their personal data.
- Other membership discounts, entitlements, privileges and benefits may be awarded to Members when their card is presented at the time of purchasing selected products/services offered by the participating outlets by cash or credit card. SJM shall determine the T&Cs applicable to such discounts or special offers on a case-by-case basis. Blackout dates may apply, which can be found at here.
- SJM has the sole and absolute discretion in making final decisions on granting any offers or Benefits the Member may be entitled to or on any dispute relating to the Program.
- SJM is not responsible for any liabilities arising out of or resulting in consumption of the Benefits, including products, services, benefits, offers or special promotions that are provided by third party through participation in the Program.
- If the Supreme Card(s) is lost or stolen, members must report this loss immediately in person to any Counter in order to deactivate the lost card and replace with a new card. SJM shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen cards and will not be held liable for any transactions made while the card is lost or stolen. Replacement of lost or stolen cards will only be issued upon presenting the Member’s valid government-issued photo identification documents/travel documents as mentioned in Paragraph (6) above. SJM reserves the right to impose a fee for replacement of any Supreme Cards. For more information about the fee for replacement, Members may visit here.
- It is Member’s responsibility to inform SJM of any change in Member’s personal details by approaching the Counter in person. SJM is not responsible for any loss due to outdated information.
- Enquiries concerning a Member’s account must be undertaken by the Member personally with proof of identity.
Others
- SJM reserves the right to change, add or cancel any discounts, benefits, complimentaries, offers and/ or promotions offered in the Program at any time, such as exclusion of certain products or outlets from the Program, without prior notice. - SJM reserves the right, with or without notice, to terminate and/or suspend an individual’s membership, (including but not limited to) if a Member breaches the T&C; attempts to obtain Benefits of the Program by providing false information or in any other improper or abusive way; behaves unruly while in the premises of SJM, its affiliates or its subsidiaries. Upon termination of membership, any Benefits shall be considered expired/forfeited/ineffective. SJM reserves the right for any damages and litigation costs, including any lawyers’ fees incurred in enforcing this rule.
- The Supreme Card is the property of SJM and must be returned unconditionally and immediately by Members upon SJM’s request.
- If the Member has been barred from any of SJM properties by the management for business or other reasons, or if requested by SJM due to reasons such as administrative and/or legal action by SJM or by government authorities, this may result in termination of membership, demotion of the Member's account status, forfeiture of all of the Member's Benefits. SJM reserves the rights to take appropriate legal action to recover damages, including its lawyers' fees incurred in prosecuting or defending any lawsuit related hereto.
- SJM will record and store transaction information carried out by the Member for the purposes of administrating and managing Member account (including but not limited to the processing of the Benefits and other special offers enjoyed by the Member) for a reasonable period of time according to the foregoing purposes.
- Should there be any discrepancy in Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
