SJM Supreme Card Terms and Conditions

General
- SJM Supreme Card Program (“Program”) is offered, operated and managed at the sole discretion of SJM RESORTS, LIMITED (“SJM”), which may be changed, modified, added, or removed in portions at any time by SJM.
- The Program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until such time as SJM decides to terminate the Program, at any time, with or without notice.
- The following Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) form the basis of participation in the Program, use of the SJM Supreme Card (“Supreme Card”) and general rules for members of the Program (“Member”) to comply with. It is the responsibility of the Member to read, understand and remain knowledgeable of all of the membership rules, benefits and responsibilities under this T&C, inclusive of any amendments thereto. The enrollment as a Member and/or the use of Supreme Card constitutes the acceptance of the T&C.
- The submission of an application for membership to the Program is deemed to be an acceptance of these T&C and SJM Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) which can be found at here.
- Membership and Member’s entitlement to membership discounts, benefits, complimentaries, offers and/ or promotions (collectively “Benefits”) is governed by these T&C and the Privacy Policy.
- SJM reserves the right to change or cancel the T&C for participating in the Program, for using the Supreme Card and/or Benefits offered by the Program at any time, including exclusion of certain products or outlets from the Program, without prior notice. The decision of SJM management is absolute and final in the event of any dispute.
Membership Application
- The Supreme Card is issued by SJM to its applicants. Only one membership per person is permitted.
- Only individual persons are eligible for membership and shall not be granted to legal entities, corporate entities, other groups or associations.
- Applicants of the Program must be 21 years of age or above. At registration, applicants will be requested to provide their name and mobile number as well as, at discretion of SJM, to present the original of valid government-issued photo identification documents/travel documents of the applicants.
- Members further acknowledge and agree that any data voluntarily provided when applying to become a Member may be used for compliance and other relevant background check purposes and for any other legitimate purposes as may be required, authorized or permitted by the applicable laws. The Member data will be used by SJM to assess the suitability to join and maintain the membership and will be retained as long as the membership is valid or longer if required by Law or Regulation.
- Applicants may be requested to provide to SJM with personal information: including but not limited to the applicant’s name, date of birth, address, email address, contact numbers, photo, other contact methods (such as WeChat) and valid government-issued photo identification documents/travel documents (being the applicant’s “Personal Data”). The Applicant may refuse to provide certain personal information, but this may result in SJM being unable to provide or continue to provide services under the Program.
- Members participating in any campaigns, events and promotions (“Events”) under this Program agree to abide by all rules and conditions of such Events as published and amended by SJM from time to time. The Member shall accept as final and binding the decisions of SJM on relating matters and disputes.
- By enrolling in the Program and/or using the Supreme Card, the Members consent to the terms of the Privacy Policy and the sharing and storing of their personal information among all affiliates, subsidiaries, resorts, properties, partners and third party service providers of SJM. Members also consent to receiving promotional and informational communications from participating affiliates, subsidiaries, resorts, properties, partners and service providers of SJM. Members may opt-out of receiving marketing communications from SJM, SJM’s partners, and/or other third parties; or may update their preferences by contacting the Supreme Card Counter at Grand Lisboa Palace or Grand Lisboa Hotel (“Counter”), but this may result in SJM being unable to provide or continue to provide services under the Program.
- Members may terminate their Membership by approaching any Supreme Card Counter in person with proof of identity/registered phone number and/or valid government issued photo identification documents/travel documents.
- Membership acceptance is at sole discretion of SJM and SJM reserves the right to accept or decline any membership application.
Use of Supreme Card
- The Supreme Card including the membership is non-transferable.
- The Supreme Card including the Benefits of the Program shall only be used by the Supreme Card owner. Any Members shall not transfer, sell, purchase, trade or barter a membership account/card or any membership Benefits to another individual. Any Member who infringes this rule is subject to termination of the Program membership and forfeiture of the Benefits including but not limited to entitlement and other privileges, and may be liable for damages and litigation costs, including any Program lawyers’ fees incurred in enforcing this rule.
- The Benefits cannot be used in conjunction or cumulatively with any other discount, special offers, campaigns, promotions and other items such as festive items, take-away, set menus or tobacco.
- SJM shall be entitled to require Members to present the original valid Supreme Card physically or digitally upon participating in any activity of the Program as a Member for verification purpose and updating of their personal data.
- Other membership discounts, entitlements, privileges and benefits may be awarded to Members when their valid physical or virtual card is presented at the time of purchasing selected products/services offered by the participating outlets by cash or credit card. SJM shall determine the T&Cs applicable to such discounts or special offers on a case-by-case basis. Blackout dates may apply, which can be found at here.
- Net Spending accumulation will not apply during blackout dates.
- Promotional e-vouchers earned by or distributed to the member will only be accessible by successfully logging into our official digital channels, such as but not limited to SJM Supreme Card Website, SJM WeChat Mini Program and Mobile Application with valid registered phone number or email address whereby OTP can be received and inputted to the channels.
- SJM has the sole and absolute discretion in making final decisions on granting any offers or Benefits the Member may be entitled to or on any dispute relating to the Program.
- SJM is not responsible for any liabilities arising out of or resulting in consumption of the Benefits, including products, services, benefits, offers or special promotions that are provided by third party through participation in the Program.
- If the Supreme Card(s) is lost or stolen, members must report this loss immediately in person to any Supreme Card Counter in order to deactivate the lost card and replace with a new card. SJM shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen cards and will not be held liable for any transactions made while the card is lost or stolen.
- It is Member’s responsibility to inform SJM of any change in Member’s personal details. SJM is not responsible for any loss due to outdated information.
- Enquiries concerning a Member’s account must be undertaken by the Member personally with proof of identity/registered phone number.
Membership Card Tiers
- Membership Card Tier will be based on the Member’s total amount of net spending accumulated in the past 12-month period. (i) With the accumulative net spending falls below MOP50,000, member will remain in the Emerald tier; (ii) With the accumulative net spending between MOP50,000 and MOP149,999.9, member will automatically proceed to the Gold tier; (iii) With the accumulative net spending between MOP150,000 and MOP299,999.9, member will automatically proceed to the Platinum tier; (iv) With the accumulative net spending on MOP300,000 or beyond, member will automatically proceed to the Diamond tier.
- Net spending (‘Spend Amount’) for Membership Card Tier shall be determined by the total amount of spending (excluding any taxes and service charge) after the application of tier discounts.
- For the avoidance of doubt, eligible Spend Amount excludes:
a. Transactions that are not made at our designated Supreme Card participating outlets ;
b. Transactions not settled by cash, credit card or other accepted electronic means of payment;
c. spending settled by promotional vouchers, gift vouchers, coupons and other offers;
d. unauthorized or fraudulent transactions; and
e. tips. - SJM has the sole discretion to determine whether any spending falls under eligible Spend Amount for the purpose of the Program. SJM’s determination in this regard shall be final and binding on each Member.
- The decimal place of the spending will be rounded down to nearest dollar for accumulation at any of the designated Supreme Card participating outlets during each 12-month period commencing from the date of commencement of membership (each referred to as ‘Membership Year’) or upon movement in card tier (upgrade or downgrade).
- Members must present their valid physical or virtual Membership Cards in-person when making purchases at any of the designated Supreme Card Participating Outlets for such transactions to be included in the Spend Amount.
- SJM shall be entitled at its sole discretion, to determine and/or amend the Spend Amount required to qualify for each Membership Card Tier without prior notice.
- Retrospective claim of Spend Amount will not be accepted.
- Each transaction for accruing the Spend Amount may only be attributed to one membership account. The combining of membership accounts for accruing the Spend Amount is prohibited.
- Spend Amount and applicable upgrades may take up to 48 hours upon transactions being posted onto the system to be will be reflected on Members Account.
- Any net spending after usage of Supreme Card Promotional vouchers will not be counted as Spend Amount.
- The validity of the Emerald membership tier is valid for life (no expiry date), while Gold, Platinum and Diamond tiers Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of commencement of membership tier. (Example: Upgrade of Membership Tier occurred on January 1, 2023, the expiry shall be on January December 31, 2024 for review of member’s Spend Amount to determine if retention or downgrade would be performed based on the criteria of applicable Membership Tier.)
- Upon expiry of the validity period, Spend Amount of member will be reviewed. The member’s assigned Membership Card Tier will be based on which Membership Card Tier criteria is met.
- Members shall be eligible for such Benefits and privileges allocated to each particular Membership Card Tier. Members must present their Membership Cards physically or digitally to be eligible for Membership Card Tier Benefits and privileges.
- The eligibility for Membership Card Tiers and Membership Card Tier Benefits and privileges shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of SJM Resorts. Restrictions may apply.
- SJM shall not be liable for any mistake in accumulation of Spend Amount into member’s account, whether such mistake results from technical malfunction, operator’s fault, misrepresentation or any factor beyond the reasonable control of SJM or otherwise.
Others
- SJM reserves the right to change, add or cancel any membership discounts, benefits, complimentaries, offers and/ or promotions offered in the Program at any time, such as exclusion of certain products or outlets from the Program, without prior notice. - SJM reserves the right, with or without notice, to terminate and/or suspend an individual’s membership, (including but not limited to) if a Member breaches the T&C; attempts to accumulate Spend Amount for tier upgrade or obtain Benefits of the Program by providing false information or in any other improper or abusive way; behaves unruly while in the premises of SJM, its affiliates or its subsidiaries. Upon termination of membership, any Benefits and Events entitlements, awards, prizes etc., shall be considered expired/forfeited/ineffective. SJM reserves the right for any damages and litigation costs, including any lawyers’ fees incurred in enforcing this rule.
- The Supreme Card is the property of SJM and must be returned unconditionally and immediately by Members upon SJM’s request.
- If the Member has been barred from any of SJM properties by the management for business or other reasons, or if requested by SJM due to reasons such as administrative and/or legal action by SJM or by government authorities, this may result in termination of membership, demotion of the Member's account status, forfeiture of all of the Member's Benefits and Events entitlements, award and prizes etc. SJM reserves the rights to take appropriate legal action to recover damages, including its lawyers' fees incurred in prosecuting or defending any lawsuit related hereto.
- SJM will record and store transaction information carried out by the Member for the purposes of administrating and managing Member account (including but not limited to the processing of the Benefits and other special offers enjoyed by the Member) for a reasonable period of time according to the foregoing purposes.
- Should there be any discrepancy in Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
