2025 SJM Macao International Dragon Boat Races
Join SJM at Macao's iconic and joyful sports festival
This May, the 2025 SJM Macao International Dragon Boat Races will return to Macao, ushered in by pulsing drumbeats and cheering crowds. Come enjoy the lively ambience as you watch and even take part in this international competition and extravaganza, jointly organised by SJM Resorts, Sports Bureau of Macao SAR Government and the Dragon Boat Association of Macao, China.
SJM Resorts is a long-time organiser, sponsor, and even contestant of dragon boat racing, one of China's traditional sports. We are proud to showcase this beloved part of our culture, ranked by UNESCO as one of Macao's intangible cultural heritages, and maximise the potential of "sports + tourism" in Macao.
Join us on 24, 25 and 31 May for a festival full of exciting and joyful racing.
Dragon Boat Festival Activities
Dragon Boat Joy with SJM
As the Dragon Boat racers paddle to the beat of the drum, dive into festive fun at Hong Kung Temple Square. Join us on designated dates to meet Sam the Rooster, play mini-games, enjoy balloon and tear-off coupon card giveaways, and take part in creative workshops. Be sure to stop by on 5 May for our vibrant Drunken Dragon Parade.

SJM Macao International Dragon Boat Races Carnival
On 24, 25, and 31 May, stop by Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre and Anim'Arte NAM VAN for lively Dragon Boat fun with your family and friends. As you stroll through the booths, you can discover local cultural and creative products, indulge your taste buds with delicious snacks and beverages, and even play fun games for a chance to win Sam the Rooster souvenirs.
