This event will feature two master chefs – Chef Wong Cheok Weng, the Chef de Cuisine (Dim Sum) for Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, and Chef Tan Guanglin from the White Swan Hotel's Jade River restaurant in Guangzhou, rated with Two Diamonds from the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide 2025 and one MICHELIN Star for seven consecutive years. Together, these two dim sum masters will showcase a special menu of handcrafted dim sum steeped in the rich culinary legacy of Guangdong. Traditional Flavours in Every Bite
For this inspired collaboration, Chef Tan and Chef Wong will re-create five long-lost dim sum recipes from the 1940s and '50s, each of which invites you to take a step back in time and savour a taste of Guangdong's nostalgic past. In addition, Chef Tan will present four signature dim sum from Jade River that are favoured by local gourmets and visitors from afar.

Chef Wong Cheok Weng
Chef Wong Cheok Weng has dedicated more than 35 years to perfecting the art of exquisite dim sum, handcrafting masterpieces of flavour with precision and inspiration. In addition to his role as Chalou's dim sum master, Chef Wong is Chef de Cuisine (Dim Sum) for Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.
Chef Tan Guanglin
As the Head Chef of White Swan Hotel's dim sum division, Chef Tan is known for his highly skilled pastry techniques, creating handmade Cantonese dim sum that blend tradition and innovation. With over 40 years of culinary expertise, Chef Tan earned the China Cuisine Association's prestigious title of China Culinary Master in 2011, a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence and creativity in the culinary arts.
